Tadpoles (7-10 months) This class is a great opportunity to watch your baby begin to show his or her personality in class. They begin to move and create bonds with each other, and it is fascinating to watch them learning to play. Each class includes music and instruments, singing, stretching, signing and an animated parachute time with songs about bubbles and colors. Class ends with a goodbye song followed by stickers and stamps from our mascot “Jump” the Frog. This is great time to start attending play hours during the week!
Turtles (12-15 months) These little people are beginning to pull up on furniture and are learning to move more quickly. Try to keep up with their endless energy, curiosity, and the friends they begin to pick for themselves. Classes feature music, instruments, singing, and physical activities. Enjoy seeing balance work moving from rocking and bouncing, to tumbling and rolling. Parachute time still has bubbles, but now clouds of them from our bubble machine, and we still sing about colors, but now we try to point them out! This child would love attending our play hour more than once a week!
Frogs (16-20 months) The frogs class is an hour and a half long lesson, like none other offered at the Wee Ones Club. Our imagination themes are becoming more challenging and fun, and music time features great new instruments and dancing. The bubble machine is always exciting, but it’s also fun for little ones to show us how well they make their own bubbles! Our color time is exciting with children telling us the names of colors, and tossing the appropriate colored beanbag onto the parachute. Jumping from shape to shape offers a new challenge for curious Frogs ready to learn. The Wee Ones Club art room is a favorite, and now we stay there longer! The introduction of story time with other children is a lively time. Children respond to the book by laughing, speaking and pointing and that’s what makes it fun! After the story, we have a snack of goldfish, and apple juice or water. Finally, children use art supplies freely to promote imagination and creativity! As always, a goodbye song, and stickers and stamps.
Learn Spanish through music and games! A fun and easy class to introduce or improve your child's knowledge and use of language including songs, art project, books, and a snack. Learn your favorite songs in Spanish and enjoy parachute and bubbles with music and dancing.
An exciting class to introduce basic pre-school
concepts like circle time, working in groups, alphabet and numbers, and parent
separation! Fun activities like art projects, sensory section, stories and games
will ensure we have fun while learning! Each class features a Storystir section
where we will focus on a letter of the day!
